The first ever Kolkata Jeep trail held on Sunday, 29th April 2018. The meeting place was Celica Automobiles, the Jeep Showroom at Park Street, Kolkata where all reported alongwith their friends/family. The Participants has been given the Jeep Trail T-Shirts. The lead car from the Showroom was a SRT Grand Cherokee to lead the trail of Kolkata Jeepers.
One Sweep Car followed in the end to ensure proper path being followed. The cars departed at around 8:30 am towards Durgapur Expressway (NH2), West Bengal. The team halted at Azad Hind Dhaba at Gopalpur (approx.70 kms from the Showroom), followed by Brunch and interaction among Kolkata Jeepers. The Jeepers also tried their hands on the SRT. This brings the Trail to an end. To make this first Jeep Trail a memorable one a professional photographer was accompanied to shoot videos and click snaps.
The whole purpose behind organising the Jeep Trail was to promote the International 4×4 Month of Jeep, brand promotion and the 4×4 Legendary Capability. In the near future there will be more Jeep Trails including Off-Roading Events, Trips to Leh-Ladakh etc.
